Living Hope Church is committed to the doctrine contained in the Old Testament and New Testament of the Bible (Holy Scripture).  We believe that there is no writing or inspiration that is on the level with the Holy Scripture.

We embrace the doctrines of the church, which all true believers historically have confirmed:

    The Deity of Jesus Christ.

    The existence of the Godhead - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

    The virgin birth of Christ, His sinless life, His bodily resurrection, His triumph over the devil.

    A literal Heaven and Hell.

    Salvation by grace, through faith, as a personal decision of each person, is available to all.

We believe that since the reformation, there has been a continual restoration of truths and practices to the Church.  While we offer that there is no new truth, we also know we are living in a day where truths formerly neglected are again being put into practice.  Historically, each denomination has regained a truth or truths that had been neglected and had not been in continued practice.  We are ardent regarding the uniqueness of Scripture and its authority, and that any restoration of truth and practice must meet Scriptural tests of authority.  Some of the restoration of truth and practice we have seen in recent history are:

    Worship and Praise.

    Gifts of the Holy Spirit.

    Authority of the Believer.

    Correct Church Government.

    World Missions.

    Unity of Local Churches.

    Spiritual Warfare.

    Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers.

While all these items are clearly Biblical and have been practiced throughout the ages by fragments of the Church, the understanding of them is now more universal than at any time, since the first century.

“and he (Jesus) said unto them, Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer, and rise again from the dead the third day; and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name unto all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.”

    Our PURPOSE is to accurately represent the Lord Jesus Christ on Earth.

    Our PASSION is to love God and love one another.

    Our PRIORITY is to worship God with all our abilities.

    Our PROCLAMATION is faith in the inspired Word of God, the Bible, for all authority, doctrine and conduct.

    Our PRIVILEGE is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and His redeeming power.

    Our PROVISION is to depend on God's power, gifts and graces.

    Our POWER is reliance upon the present-day empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

    Our PRINCIPLE is servanthood, which is the highest place in God's Kingdom.

OUR VISION    HOME

    EXALT THE LORD!  Our first priority, as individual believers and as a corporate church, is to worship a holy and deserving God.  This is accomplished through audible, joyful and unashamed proclamation.  Our worship includes all we do in word and deed.

    EQUIP THE SAINTS!  The body is full of gifting that God wants to use, to impact our lives, for great fruition and fulfillment, by applying: scriptural principles, shared wisdom and numerous learning and ministry opportunities.  We are committed to each believer walking in his or her destiny.

    EXPAND THE KINGDOM!  We believe that the Christian life is not limited to church activities, and that we must take God's truth into the highways and byways and market places of the world.  We believe that God's truth is relevant in everyday life - that His Glory may fill the whole earth.
