The ladies of LHC will be hosting dinner and fellowship on Friday, September 10 beginning at 7:00PM. Natalie Paladin of Word and Worship Church in North Braddock, PA will be our special guest.

Renewal & Harvest
Please join us in prayer and fasting September 15-17. We desire a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit and to see the harvest field as the Lord sees it. Also, there will be a very special worship night on Wednesday, September 15 beginning at 7:00 P.M.

Do You Want To Shine The Light, Or Just Curse The Darkness?

On Sunday, September 19, Dr. Ron Johnson, Jr. will be speaking at Living Hope Church at 10AM and 7PM. Living Hope Church is located in Whitney , PA (just three miles past the Latrobe Airport on Charles Houck Road ).

Dr. Johnson is a 1984 graduate of Taylor University , he served as student body president and was the recipient of the Taylor Student Leader of the Year Award.  Upon graduation, he attended Regent University , where he completed his Master of Arts in Counseling and was honored with Regent’s “Award of Excellence” as the outstanding graduate in the School of Education . In May of 2005, he earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Regent University .

God has been using Dr. Johnson to stir the Church to shine Biblical truth on a culture that increasingly embraces moral relativism, socialism and radical environmentalism.

History has shown us that too often both church leaders and political leaders did not discern the secular forces at work that seek to unhinge society from its moral foundation for the purpose of establishing a “utopian” society that is free from God and His Law. Dr. Johnson delivers a message that both opens our eyes and gives us hope.

40 Days of Life
God has graciously given us an opportunity to band together as His children in the form of a national prayer campaign called 40 Days for Life!  Please check out the website for more information at http://www.40daysforlife.com. The kickoff event happens September 18 beginning at 2:00 P.M. at the Pittsburgh Planned Parenthood…bring your spouse, family, pastor and friends!

To date, through prayer and fasting, neighborhood outreach and peaceful prayer vigils held at the abortion clinics…God has used this campaign to save 2,011 babies from abortion! He has also saved 2,011 young women from a lifetime of guilt and regret which could have caused them to become spiritually hardened.
