PA HOMESCHOOLERS®
is a newsletter co-edited by Susan and Howard Richman with a Backpack

Issue #1 in 1982 (when it was called "Western Pennsylvania
Homeschoolers"), PA HOMESCHOOLERS PA HOMESCHOOLERS® is a network linking homeschoolers in Pennsylvania. It organizes political action, provides for communication among homeschoolers, and organizes state-wide activities including a homeschool excellence day in the Harrisburg Capitol Rotunda. PA HOMESCHOOLERS® is a publisher publishing the books and guides written by Susan and Howard Richman. Our books include The Three R's at Home, Writing from Home, Story of a Bill, and Math by Kids!. Our guides include Guide to PA Homeschool Law and Guide to PA Homeschoolers Diploma. PA HOMESCHOOLERS® is a Internet bookstore making available books, guides, workbooks, educational games, math textbooks, and other educational materials to the homeschooling community nationwide.

| Pennsylvania Homeschoolers Accreditation Agency (PHAA) | Pennsylvania Homeschoolers Accreditation Agency (PHAA) is a state-wide homeschool membership organization founded by Pennsylvania Homeschoolers® in 1991 in order to provide legitimate diplomas to the homeschooling community. It has had many beneficial effects, such as encouraging homeschoolers to continue through high school, helping homeschoolers get scholarships to college, and enhancing the reputation of homeschool graduates by collecting and publicizing statistics about its graduates. Beginning with just 6 graduates in 1991, PHAA had 531 in 2002. | |
